Messer named branch manager at Commercial Bank in Corbin

CORBIN — Special to The Times-Tribune

Assistant Vice President Judy Messer has been named the Branch Manager of the Commercial Bank Office in Corbin.

This month marks her 35th anniversary as a bank employee. Prior to becoming a lender, she worked as a front line and drive up teller, a CSR, loan clerk, and loan processor.

She and husband, Dwight, have lived in Crane Nest, Ky. for the last 36 years. Her time away from work revolves around her family. Their son, Michael, is retiring this April from the Air Force. Michael and his family will be moving back from Montana. Lisa, her daughter, teaches at Knox Central High School and lives in the area with her family. When Michael and his family get home, Judy is looking forward to the family being together again.

She continues involvement with various community activities such as Relay for Life, PRIDE Cleanups, Repair Affair, and March of Dimes.
