Special to the Times-Tribune
In March, the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association (KRTA) announced to its members their endorsement of Comfort Keepers as the preferred provider of non-medical in-home care services.
“It took several months to gain this endorsement. The KRTA does a thorough job of investigating companies to ensure they offer quality, reputable services,” says Sarah Short, owner of the London/Corbin Comfort Keepers. “We are honored to gain this endorsement.”
Comfort Keepers is now endorsed on a statewide level. Comfort Keepers has offices in Ashland, Northern Kentucky, Lexington, Richmond, Frankfort, Louisville, Owensboro, Somerset/London/Corbin and Bowling Green, which cover several Kentucky counties. All offices are independently owned and operated.
“We look for providers who are committed to our members and who we know will provide great services,” says KRTA Executive Director Bob Wagoner. “Comfort Keepers has demonstrated professionalism, quality, and a real passion for this work. We are glad to have them as a part of our team.”
Comfort Keepers provides non-medical in-home care services for senior adults, those recuperating from illness or injury, and new mothers. Services include homemaker and personal care services such as companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, incidental transportation, medication reminders, bathing and dressing/grooming guidance. To find out more about Comfort Keepers, visit www.comfortkeepers.com or call your local office at 606-864-0090.
