Staff Report

A student who skipped class at Knox Central High School caused the Knox County Middle School and Kentucky Tech/Knox County Area Technology Center to be shut down for about 20 minutes Thursday.

According to media advisor Frank Shelton, an unknown student was on the Kentucky Tech/Knox ATC campus, which adjoins the middle school.

Instructors at the technical school identified the unknown student in their building and the school was locked down, Shelton stated.
