At 3:10 p.m, National Weather Service indicated a tornado near Dixie, seven miles east of Williamsburg, moving southeast at 30 mph. A several thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was spotted via Doppler radar near Gatliff, 11 miles southeast of Williamsburg, moving southeast at 25 mph. There have been numerous reports of funnel clouds in Williamsburg, including near the Whitley County Courthouse, and a wall cloud also in the same area. A tornado warning was extended until 4 p.m. for southeastern Whitley, extreme south central Knox and southwestern Bell counties.
