Police are looking for a inmate who escaped from a work release project at Miller Park in Corbin Friday afternoon.
George Brewer, 28, walked away from a Whitley County Detention Center work project in Miller Park. According to jailer Ken Mobley, Brewer took off his bright orange jail shirt and walked away from the work site when "heads were turned."
Brewer is described as a 6-foot-tall white male with brown hair and light brown skin.
Brewer is from Barbourville and was housed in Whitley County Detention Center for two counts of receiving stolen property over $300.
Mobley said State Police, Corbin Police, London Police, and Barbourville Police have all been notified.
Contact police if you have any information on Brewer's whereabouts.
