Man indicted for sexual abuse of child

CORBIN — Times-Tribune Staff Report

A man living at a Williamsburg homeless shelter has been indicted on 12 counts of first-degree sexual abuse involving a child younger than 12, according to Whitley Circuit Court documents.

George Clouse, 44, abused the child once a month between January and December 2007, the document states.

Others indicted by the Whitley County Grand Jury were:

—Jessie Ray Terry, 37, who is in jail in Claiborne County, Tenn., receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000 related to stolen roofing material and first-degree persistent felony offender. In a separate indictment, he is charged with second-degree escape from the Whitley County Detention Center and first-degree persistent felony offender.

—Rebecca K. Watson, 47, of Williamsburg, theft by unlawful taking over $500 but less than $10,000 related to a theft of a purse.

—Teddy Leach, 64, of Williamsburg, insurance fraud for wrongly telling an insurance agent he had not suffered a fire loss in the preceding five years.

—Carl Rufus Bradshaw, 58, of Cincinnati, trafficking in marijuana over five pounds related to his possession of 32 pounds of marijuana.

—Doyle Carr, 34, of Corbin, two counts of flagrant non-support of a child. In a separate indictment, Carr is also charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

—Jeffery Parsley, 52, of London, receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000 related to his possession of a stolen 1996 Ford truck and second-degree persistent felony offender.

—James D. Bell, 43, of Williamsburg, receiving stolen property worth $500 or more but less than $10,000 related to a Stihl concrete saw stolen from Whitley County Water District.

—Ronald T. Sisk, 37, who is jailed in the Whitley County Detention Center, second-degree escape from the Whitley County Detention Center and first-degree persistent felony offender.

An indictment is a formal charge by a grand jury and is not a conviction or an admission of guilt.
